But hey, at least the infamous autoplay button has been removed! That’s something, right? With the exception of the end-level bosses, each stage in a world is identical, with the same enemies and everything. The game is glitchy as hell, crashes frequently, and has an obtuse account system. ![]() Heat Man of The Mega Man Network has been putting the game through its paces, but his early impressions are not positive. Wow, that's… not a whole lot of Experience Points. My characters are… too weak to beat this level. I'll just play through Story Mode like I'd planned to and… oh. And even before I had a dedicated controller for my iPad, I absolutely loved it! Finally, a new Mega Man X game with a new story, new characters, and new gameplay features! It was everything I'd hoped for, and more!! Except… that a lot of those features were locked away behind "level up" gates. I was getting more-and-more excited! I'd be able to play this game I'd heard so much about for myself! Then, finally, in mid-2021… we, in the US, finally got the chance to play the game on our mobile devices without having to jump through a lot of hoops. News of the game coming to the Western territories started circulating in 2020. ![]()
